Why photography? It’s a passion of mine that started a few years ago while living in New York City. Moving in the city with a friend, just to see what was in store for me, was one of the craziest things I’ve done. A month later, I became a model for Boss Models. I met a photographer who became and got me hooked into photography…

The rest is history.

Born in 1983 to Deaf parents, I grew up going to a Deaf residential school four hours from home. During high school, I ended up in a school blocks away from home and graduated there along with 480-something hearing peers. Attended Gallaudet University for a couple of years before transplanting myself in New York at 2004.

After four wonderful years, I’m packing my bags to go back to Virginia Beach so I can finish up with school (linguistics and photography).

Who knows what’s yet to come…
